Here is my other ride, a 2008 Kymco People 150 scooter. I bought it this spring for commuting. It is great on the back roads. The top speed is 56mph (Measured with a GPS - Speedo was at about 68mph). I get about 83 MPG.

Nice for getting around town I bet.  I totally would get one myself if I didn't live so far from downtown.

So...NOW I gotta start waving at scooters?!

 wave

Just kidding, I've always done that. There are TONS of scooters around here this past year. The scooter riders face all the danger and experience the same sense of freedom as the motorcyclists...they just don't get to shift is all....

83MPG?   Wow.  I'm not getting that with my People 150.  I think 75MPG was the best I've done.  :D

I go through a couple of small towns with 25mph speed limits on my commute and I think that helps my MPG. There is really only one small stretch of road where I can open up the throttle.

Classic ivory, nice.
Is that little edsel grille just ornamental, or is that a big horn cover?  Also, what the mount on the mirror stalk for?

Yea, but if the speedo is off by as much as the GPS says it is then his fuel mileage is not accurate either unless it was figured by GPS as well.   gerg

I have not taken the front fairing off, so I don't know what is behind the grill, but it does have a round opening that could be for the horn.
The mount is for my GPS.

Yes, that grille is for the horn.  These scoots are air cooled, so radiator or any other reason for an air intake up front.

I also have a GPS mount on my People 150.   I attached the RAM Mount U-Bolt to the left blinker stalk.
