Nice Boulevard (I do not acknowledge new alphanumerics ). Looks good in blue. I prefer the vintage machines. What happened to them?

Thanks, the blue with the white stripe is what drew me in. I sold the other 2 in spring 07. I wish I woulda kept them but I didnt have the room after I bought the Blvd and my son bought his Katana and I was sorta tired of messin with the older bikes. The fella that I sold the 750 to paid for it, rode it about 50 ft and dropped it. No damage except for his ego, and he got scared. It still sits in his shed. The KZ is somewhere out on the Jersey coast last time I seen it.

Heres the last one I cleared out. Was gonna cafe it but just lost my motivation. It was a good runner and I see it once n a while. The fella that owns it ran up to NY and back visiting friends and said he got it up to just over 120mph on the Jersey Tpk. Thats a bit faster than I would run it...

I don't mean to sound like a dick but where is the Nighthawk???
This is a Nighthawk forum not a showcase for your non Nighthawk bikes.
Come back when you have one and not just prance your supposed other bikes.
And if I read the first post right you want the Nighthawk to be your turd bike.

Very nice M109. I've been drooling over them since I saw the first one. I think when I do get a newer bike that'll be it. I'm happy with my nighthawk for now though. My wife will buy me that one when she graduates from school...hopefully.

Its just bike envy. Ill have pictures of my Hawk up tomorrow when I have a chance to take some. And I dont think any bike is a "turd". I love all motorcycles, but when you have over 15k into one you dont really want to drop it in the snow. I ride year round and last winter it was a pain in the arse to ride the M109 around with ice and snow on the ground. On a different note: the stock rear tire sucked. I would describe it as trying to wrestle a half dead whale around when in some twisties. I have since replaced it with a Dunlop Elite 3 and it handles much better.

My bad. Sugar level was way to low. I get real onry when my sugar gets down in the 30's. But I am thankful to not be diabetic.
BTW, I love Kawi's.

Sorry to hear that Zug. That was a good looking bike. Holiday's are a tough time of year. Atleast you can look on the bright side you do have another bike to ride!

Yeah, I hate to see it go. It was my all time favorite, but I've grown accustomed to eating and staying warm. Im hoping to keep enough funds trickling in to keep the nighthawk going until the economy turns around. Being on 2 wheels is my "happy place".

Everyone seems to be cutting back.
Hopefully things pick up soon! Thanks for sharing, that was one sweet ride. I love that blue color.

The M109 is still in production, so it should be easier to replace when things turn around, assuming you want a direct replacement. Clearly more lucrative to liquidate also. My temperament definitely deteriorates after a few days without riding too.

Sorry to hear that Zug. I hope things get better soon, for you and everyone else who has been cut back or let go. Our economy is going down in flames.

Yay! I got the starter back together! Sorry no pics. It was just to cold out there. I almost got frostbite on my fingers as it is. Fired right up once I turned the fuel back on. I must be getting old because a temp of 25 didnt used to bother me. I did go for a 10 mile ride though.
