Hopefully someone can help out.  I recently purchased a 1983 Nighthawk 550 and when the weather was warmer, I had no problem starting it, however now that the weather has turned wicked, I cannot get it to turn over.  Is this a common problem and if so, is there any way to correct it?

Thanks

If the engine won't physically turn over, it's not the choke, most likely a battery.

Best to start with the basics...I had a similar problem. Given the cold and if the bike has not been running, it could be the battery. Either charge/test it or jump start it (with vehicle off).
