Drive thru booze. So, that would be...drinking and driving? Um, count me out.
Sadly, Louisiana consistently has one of the highest incidence of drunk driving, and I am not proud of it.
Really it's not the drive through daiquiri shops that are the cause of this. For the most part they are used responsibly. The driver may have a few sips but it's not like you can slam these things. Ice cream headache that goes all the way down your trout is not fun. If your going to drink and drive not having "Drive thru booze" isn't going to stop you. You can always pull up in the parking lot of any....ANY store, walk in and buy booze. Then walk right back out and jump in your car and drive off. The drive through is just a convince thing in a state that is very relaxed on their liquor laws.
"Louisiana consistently has one of the highest incidence of drunk driving"...YES but also has the highest incidence of crawfish boils, Fais dodo's, parades, and festivals. At all these events there is a lot of drinking. Then most of these people drive home.

This was 9:00 in the AM. And typical Louisiana behavior.
