There's been a guy trying to sell his Field Sheer jacket & pants for the last several months on our local CL. I made contact with him about checking them out but we couldn't quite work things out so I could meet with him.

I tried again today and ended up meeting up with the owner over lunch. It turns out the pants fit almost like they were made for me. I'm now super-glad that I've been taking part in the Weight-Loss Challenge -- back in January I would not have fit into these pants.

The best part is the price. Originally sold for $130, I picked them up for $30

The seller also turned me on to another discount MC gear site: http://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com/. According to him it ranks right up there with motorcyclegear.com (formerly newenough.com) and bikebandit.com.

I'm really hoping to get the winter project finished within a week or so cuz I'm really getting the bug bad. I plan to be geared up and revved up for that first really nice day in March.

Fantastic deal Baja. They will help you keep your eating in check after the challenge is over also. I can tell it is time to get back on the wagon when my over pants start getting snug.  shog

Got my pants in the mail today from Jafrum.  They are inexpensive but hey they're my first.
They fit well but I will have to take my combat boots off everytime I wear them which is a minor hassle.
Has anyone altered a pant cuff to make it a little bigger?

Stache, can you maybe get a zipper or velcro opening put into them, so you can just open up the bottom part of the leg?

I bought the Element pants from Jafrum.  They seemed to be decent quality, but within three months the zipper broke.  I'm planning on having velcro added to the fly and having the pant leg slits taken up quite a bit to accommodate getting over my boots.

I do think the added zipper is the way to go.  Time to pay a visit to the base tailor. biker_h4h1
