Just ordered a Scorpion Exo-400 from Streetbike Track Gear. I would have rather had a solid helmet, but going for a discontinued graphic saved a lot of cash. I got it for 59.99 instead of the $150 a new one would cost me.

I've had my EXO-400 for about a year and it's been a great little lid.  I plan on upgrading to a 800 or 1000 but I'm definitely sold on the brand.  Good choice!  thumb

My husband tried on a Scorpion recently and really liked the fit. I was thinking I might get him one some day. Anyone tried the different models? Do the various EXO's seem to have the same fit?

IME they run a little snug Burgi, I wear a Lg normally but had to go with a XL in my EXO-400.  As we all know though, noggins come in a variety of sizes so the best thing to do is have him try on different sizes/models of the brand and then take the info and find a good deal online.

I have a Scorpion EXO-700, that I love.  It's actually a better fit than my more expensive O'Neal lid.  I've had the 700 for about a year, and it's held up great.  Like the original poster, I would have preferred a solid color helmet (my O'Neal is), but I got the Scorpion because they were closing out the "CrackHead" graphics.

I bought the new EXO750 model a few weeks ago. I think it's a EXO700, but with an upgraded safety rating (ECE + Snell), different shield and paint. Great helmet, though. It does fit a little snug; I may have to change the pads out (the XL would only fit using the air pump)

I have the 700 in Matte Black, also happy with it, if only I hade a bike to use with it.
However, I do feel safe when I put it on to go for a walk round the neighbourhood naughty

I like that look!  Is that shield just tinted gold, or is it supposed to be Scorpion's photo-chromatic shield?  I bought one of the photo-chromatic shield, and I gotta tell ya, it was a waste of money.  Not even a perceptible darkening in bright sunlight.

I am digging that stripe though!  BTW, the 700 is also Snell/DOT rated.

I think it is just the gold one, which I don't care much for ( I have the clear and dark smoke). I like the style as well, one of their better ones. About the safety ratings: I was just saying I think the 750 has the additional ECE rating ( I hear it's a more stringent rating than Snell, but who knows), which is relatively new in the states.

I just purchased a Burst EX700.  I usually wear large but like Ari I went with an extra large and the fit seems comfortable.  Haven't used it on the road yet but will give it a go this spring.
