Here is a link to those saddlebags: http://www.motorcyclegear.com/parts/luggage/saddlebags_/cortech_by_tour_master/cortech_motorcycle_saddlebags.htmlI also bought the matching tailbag, cause it all fits together nicely and can come off in one piece if you want it to. I only use it when I need it, same for the tank bag. Most of the time I ride with just the saddlebags. The windshield is the slipstreamer sport fairing ss-28. Looks a tad funny but I really don't mind it vs how much it helps. My biggest worry when I first got the bike was how uncomfortable it was at interstate speeds. The mini fairing seemed to funnel all this wind to my chest and blow me all over the place. This windshield is nice and short but totally takes the wind blast off my chest and I can ride comfortably. Rode it down to the coast for a job earlier this month with no trouble, about an 8 hour drive. Where did you find your fairing? I can not find the cb700s listed on the fitment chart on slipstreamers site.

That's a nice looking 700! Nice car as well. My Dad loves Packards. What kind of shape is it in? Welcome to the forum!

That's a nice looking 700! Nice car as well. My Dad loves Packards. What kind of shape is it in? Welcome to the forum! it's in really, really good condition as far as i know. it is, i think, a 1948. belongs to my landlord. he has some wild stuff, man. like a museum of modern history. from what he told me it was a complete resto and then parked. he said he cruised it on I-95 at I-95 speeds and it was like butter. if i think to, i'll post up some pics in the "stablemates" section. It has a crazy folding jumpseat in the middle of the car. it seats like 8 people. has a massive inline 8 cylinder that looks like an iron coffin box or something. pretty impressive car, i'd like to hear it run.

When is your fishing trip to Lake Erie, and where are you headed to (what city/state)? I'm near Cleveland, Ohio, and right on the lake. Let me know. If we're close enough, I'll ride one of the 700-S up to meet with you. Joe Hey option13, it's great to see another member in RVA. I live very near Forest Hill Park/Westover Hills/Reedy Creek area. After I get my clutch issue sorted out, we should meet up sometime.
Drdubb, I'll have to check out the Deal's Gap rally. I have a walleye fishing trip on Lake Erie in June and I'd like to ride my NH up there. A rally would be good riding practice (my first bike) as well as a chance to see if there are any mechanical issues that need to be addressed before attempting such a trip.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Airwave Charters in Port Clinton, Ohio.
I took a week off from June 25-July 4. I'll be up there Mon-Fri during those dates, I think. Not for sure I'll be riding the Nighhawk yet. Trying to sort out some mechanical issues. Nothing major, so there is hope.
