OGIO back pack

So i got my new Back pack today and tested it out on a little ride , so far this thing is the most comfortable thing i've ever worn .
 It's so comfortable you don't even know you have it on, 100%   , if you commute to work (which i'll be doing) it's just the most awesome back pack

I have had one of the No Drag backpacks for quite a while, and it is a great backpack.

I'll tell you something else about it.  Back when I had my Ninja 250, I was on a 400+ mile day heading up to visit parents in VA.  I had a pair of textile saddlebags (which BajaKirch now has) and I had this backpack strapped on the back of my bike, kind of on top of the saddlebags.  It is super comfortable to wear, but on my Olympia riding suit, wearing any backpack blocks the back air vents.

Somewhere near Lexington NC, one of my bungee straps failed.  Plastic hook apparently just snapped.  I had no idea when it happened.  Ogio backpack fell off AT 60 MPH PLUS!!!  I stopped for gas later, realized pack was missing.  Damn, my work laptop was in there, along with other valuable stuff.  I went back and forth for about 20 miles of interstate looking for it.  Nothing.

Three days later I get a call from a guy who lived in Lexington.  He had found my backpack about 20 yards from the road when he was out checking his fence.  It had apparently skidded across the asphalt, then across the gravel shoulder, through the weeds, and stopped up against his fence.  He found my business cards inside and called me.


Laptop was fine, all contents were fine.  Bag now has some serious scuff and abrasions, but no way I'm parting with that thing.  It  has proven itself worthy.

Great idea but that ain't even gonna hold my gym clothes and sneakers, much less my lunch on work days..

I wonder if they make a bigger one...

I really want one of these backpacks, but just have not been able to justify the cost, when my current bag functions well.

Shoes do fit easily, and would still leave room for a change of clothes in addition to a laptop and work stuff.  The only thing I don't like about it is the absolute zero number of external pockets.  I like the ease of having external pockets for different things, but I realize part of the design of the No-Drag is that all of that stuff is inside.  It's protected in there, out of the weather, etc.  Just not as convenient as an external pocket.

Very nice pack but too small. Gym shoes, work clothes, lunch, travel bag of shower stuff (already as small as I can make it), shower shoes--they all have to fit in my bag every day and this is too small.

My enormous backpack is doing fine so far, but this one is really nice...

They do make another version of this back pack "OGIO Less Drag Back Pack" which does have external pockets but basically the same , if you look at the video you'll recognize the guy who missed the foam pit lol
