I had a thing for the PC800 a while back. Then, in quick succession, I heard it referred to as "the station wagon of motorcycles" and "the bastard child of a motorcyle and a scooter". Instant buzzkill.

I also liked them for a while, I think I saw one for sale a few months ago with 120K on the clock. Looked like it just rolled out of a dealership too.

I had one briefly, was going to make it a project, but gave up after awhile. Very, very comfortable and can't beat the built-in trunk space. Pain in the butt to work on due to all the tupperware pieces.

Congrats.
It uses the same oil filter that we use on our last gen 750's. I replaced the fuel filter and rebuilt the carbs, so if you have any questions on those, let me know.

Nice looking pc800! I have to admit, I almost bought one when I bought my NH. I have absolutely no regrets getting the NH, but wonder what might have been.

I think everyone should have both a Nighthawk and a PC800 <G>
The NH is such a cool zip out and zoom bike... and the PC800 ... well, it's so comfortable ... I can tell that longer rides are going to be more fun.

Still loving BOTH my bikes. The PC800 was to be the comfort bike for more than 1 hour rides - and when my wife rides with me - --but now I have the PC800 here in Kentucky and the NH in TN at my Mother's place. So when the weather is good - I have something on 2 wheels I can enjoy.
I don't think I'll be able to keep both into 2013 - but I'm sure enjoying it for now.
