Heck no one isn`t enough ... since I bought my NightHawk I`ve been watching Creigs list like a Hawk ...getting up at 6 am and checking for a Honda Magna .......been wanting one for a long time . we`ll long story short , I found my dream bike 1985 Magna 700 yesterday . 3 hour drive ..and 1,500.00 and I was putting her on my trailor heading to her new home ....I even got the color I wanted ....never thought that would happen eaither . when I sat in the saddle ...my old butt said awwwwwwwwww buy this baby now ! I`m going to keep the NightHawk I`m married to her ...got so much time and money in her ..at blue book prices I would be giveing her away to sell . whats nicer than haveing another bike to ride while one is down , and you can take your time fixing it . the guy had the Magna serviced at a Honda dealer , and he gave me all the service records and old parts they had changed out . she has 27,000 on the clock and in the past year the PO has replaced the electric fuel pump , new fork seals , new head gaskets and tune up , new back tire .......nothing left for me to do but ride ..

hotness. btw, a friend mentioned to me something about the RSS feed on CraigsList.
he was claiming you could use this to send you real time email alerts when the item you were looking for was posted. so you don't have to keep getting up at 6 am to check, haha.
nice bike!

I forgot to mention the sound of this water cooled V4 ...its different from any other bike ...its not loud at all , but has a nice low rumble . I`m guessing because of the electric fuel pump this one is not cold natured at all ....cranks and idles perfect even on cold mornings , hard to beleive it`s a Honda and doesn`t require 10 mins to warm up before takeing off . I`ve noticed it has the same front fender and handle bars as my 550 Night Hawk ....I always though they looked alot alike ...my 550 NH looks like a lighter version of this Magna.

I don't think one is enough. I found another NH in Tahitian Blue and snapped her right up. So now I have 2 NH.
I like the looks of your Magna. She looks like she is ready for a long ride right now!

Beautiful Magna, congrats. If one Honda is good, 2 has to be better.

700cc is the v45
very nice! my dad's got a '97 750 magna and i've got my '87 VFR.
i know why Soichiro Honda thought the v4 was THE engine design... pulls like a freight train and sounds about as intimidating - absolutely fantastic!
oh, and to answer the question - NO one is NEVER enough!

Tell me about it...The Vmax had an amazing sound but my '86 VFR has the same great sound, handles beautifully, and has Honda reliability to boot! No, one Honda is not enough. Honda did many kinds of bikes just as well as they did the Nighthawks.

The 1985 700 cc Magna was sold here during a time when our goverment put a high tariff tax on import bikes 750 cc and larger ...( due to Harley Davison wineing about the metric bikes killing their business ) so Honda worked their magic on the 750 Magna and made it a 700cc with 82 Hp and 47 foot Lbs of tork ...to get around the high tarrif . Harley Davison needs to get with the program and quit makeing under powered noise makers . did I mention I love my Magna ! the wife loves it too ...lucky for me !
