Hi everyone, my proper name is Graham [Helmet Hair is my PS3 gamer tag] and I'm from Essex, just to the East of London in the UK. 48 years old, been riding bikes since I was 16, mostly Brit iron, Royal Enfield's, Triumph's, both the Meriden originals and the Hinkley types. Became the owner of my 1982 CB650 Nighthawk in August 2010, by accident really, was looking to get back on 2 wheels after a short lay off from riding, spotted it at a dealers on the auto trader web site and instantly loved the look of it.
Found this forum also by accident while I was on the SOHC4 forum which I'm also a member of as well as CB650 SOHC, Like the fact this forum is dedicated to the Nighthawk.
Seen some great bikes on here already and looking forward to getting into all the other topics that I couldn't before I signed up.
Hopefully there's a picture of my bike attached to this

Hi Ford, I get that question a lot, its aMarshal 4 - 1 'deeptone' It was on the bike when I got it and from what Ive seen of other NH's with aftermarket pipes, it seems to have been a pretty popular choice, at least in the UK .....
It's not made anymore so I better try and look after it, sounds nice, and even tho it looks really low slung Iv'e had no ground clearance issues with it and london is full of 'speed ramps' !!

Thanks for the welcome

Very interesting.  I was intrigued when I saw the twisted header pipes snaking around everywhere.  Must be a type of "equal length" style header?  Looks pretty cool!

Welcome to the group Graham, ride safe.

At first, I thought your exhaust was bent crash bars.   giggle

Your pipes kind of remind me of the old CB400 supersport pipes.  Real cool.
