Well, I'm finally done painting after 4 weeks of working on it and I have my new baby put back together!

Here's some before and after pics. The green is actually a little darker than the picture shows. Sadly, it was cloudy when I took the picture so the metallic sparkle in the paint isn't showing through. It's not perfect but I'm pretty happy with my first paint job ever.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm really happy with it. I just need to put some high heat paint on the headers now. They're looking a bit corroded.

Andy - It's actually a rattle can job. I used Duplicolor Metal Specks Shimmering Green. It's a high metallic flake paint but the flakes are very small. If that makes sense… I was able to get it at Schucks/Oreilly. It's about 2x the price of regular duplicolor colors but, I loved the color. I used their lacquer clear for the plastics and Spraymax 2k clear for the tank. Again, Spraymax was spendy but worth it. It's the only 2 part urethane available in aerosol. Good for fuel resistance though.
