Thanks. The PO put that on. It's a Targa fairing. Functionally, I have no idea if it works, but I like the look.

She sure is a looker!  I like the rear grab bar.  Can you provide any info on it?

Appreciate it. Honestly I have no info on the grab bar. I thought it was stock. Maybe someone has a little more insight.

Thanks, I like having the fastest color NH bkr3. Besides new tires, oil, and filter, I have not changed a thing. I purchased it with the stock windscreen, chin spoiler, grab bar, and cargo net.

I plan to do progressive HD front and rear (I'm 210 and occasionaly ride 2-up with the wife). Still debating cargo options. It's my daily commuter downtown Chicago. It's definitely the Swiss Army knife of bikes.

Very nice '91 Nighthawk you have there! I sold my '92 two years ago. Lately, I've been thinking of getting another one.
That rear grab rail is  an obsolete HONDALINE OEM accessory and VERY RARE. It took me months to find one. It was the last NOS in the country. You'd be very lucky to find one even used.  So, I'd hang on to it even if you put the sissy bar/backrest. You can always go back and forth as I did occasionally.
I also installed a European CBX750 belly pan copy from an England body parts producer. Took 3-4 weeks as they made one. Worth the wait, though.
Again a BEAUTIFUL bike you have there!!!!

THESE OEM Honda parts are the only ones still available! Try (Service Honda) or (Huntington Beach Honda)
       OEM Honda chrome engine guards-kit .....   # 08P51-MW3-100
       OEM.Honda main center stand-kit ..... # 50600-MW3-810

Below are pics of my old bike with the CBX copied belly pan and a European CBX750 showing an OEM belly pan.

How many mounting brackets does your Nighthawk's lower Targa fairing ("chin scoop") require and are they all identically sized?

I'm asking because I recently acquired a used one, after a long search, but it only came with two mounting brackets. No biggie if they're all meant to be identical, but if not...not sure what to have fabricated.

Any light you can shed on this is greatly appreciated.
Every day is a gift.
