Are there different models of post 90's NH750s in different countries? I know for some Honda bikes there are UK spec'd bikes and US spec'd bikes.

Reason I'm asking is I bought a pair of pillion footpegs for my '92 NH750 but it doesn't fit my bike. It's too short.

The ones I got came from a US bike and the measurement from the end of the footpeg to the hole where a peg mounts through is about 95mm. Mine is longer.

Wonder if anyone can confirm, and help me measure their footpegs and tell me how far the distance is between the tip of the peg and the hole? Thanks.

Off the top of my head I know that the Euro/Jap model NH750 was called the Honda CB Seven Fifty. It had Dual discs up front and a disc rear brake, different bodywork (tank is very CB1000esqe), and it has Showa dampening shocks on the rear.  I'm sure there are many other little differences though, a quick search on the interweb should yield some comparisons.  Many people have pondered the idea of trying to get a "contact" who could send them all the sweet euro parts to upgrade their NH.  IMO it's just not worth it...they are already great bikes and the cost (if you could find someone) would have to be out of this world.  I can't remember if it when/where but I do remember seeing one for sale on CL months ago...most likely one of the only ones to make it into the states.

Yes I'm aware of the CB750 you have in mind. We have both in my country, but mine's a nighthawk, looks exactly like the ones you have there. The CB750 you have in mind is a totally different bike (it's not called a nighthawk here, just CB750).

The bike that I got the peg from is also a Nighthawk, that's why I'm puzzled why it doesn't fit. I've attached a pic to show the measurement I need, would it be possible to measure yours and let me know the distance?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Oh, yeah the EU SevenFifty and the US Spec CB750 are more different than you think.

There are quite a few differences in the way the frames are set up. Even bolt sizes are different.
