I have always been a big fan of the Honda  4 cyc motor cycles ...
its the power band I am so fond of ...that kick in the pants at 4 grand with the smooth power being built under the seat of your pants is the wow factor for an old gear head like myself .
does anyone remember the first time you ever flew on a jet airplane ...half scared half excited to be there not knowing what was going to happen during take off ... happy1
there you are wide eyed the airplane is in take off mode ...running down the runway with the power poured on ..and you can feel it in the seat of your pants ....
I remember the first time I flew ...as the wheels left the ground I got this big grin on my face and I said WOW out loud .  I guess everyone around me knew this must be my first time ...haha
Now I`m no race ridder ...I stay within the speed limit most of the time ...but there are those times on the open road when I can see 1/4 mile in front of me and 1/4 mile behind me ....I just can`t resist dropping into 5th gear and twisting the throttle ...and by the time I shift into 6th all my problems are left behind in a vapor cloud !
I should have been a pilot ...of course I should have done alot of things and didn`t .......but I have my Honda`s    wings

If you ever want an acceleration rush, forget airliners. Try an Extra 300 at the top of a hammerhead with the throttle wide open as it yaws from 90 up to 90 down just as it starts to fall. Not only do you get the gravity plummet thing going, you also get shoved into the back of your seat as the prop yanks you toward the ground faster than gravity. The first time it happens, the airspeed indicator is going through 200 mph before your brain has a clue what happened.

I've been a speed nut since I was a baby.  My mom said I use to "rev up" my pedal cars with my voice.

I've had fast cars and fast boats.  But the thing I enjoy about the motorcycle is the sensation is given in 3 dimensions from the lean.  That's why I love twisty riding.  In the mountains, this is compounded because the axis of the 3rd dimension changes.

I get the same sensation in airplanes, but those rides are expensive and I don't get to drive.   giggle

I've had the 'speed gene' since birth.  No one else in my family has it, but I've met a ton of folks over the years that share this need/trait.

You win. I'll trade you! That's far more fun than slippery zoomie planes.
