I can't understand why those bikes are only available in Japan, I think they would sell well over here. I would love to have the RWB one.

I don't get it either, the Seven Fifty still has it's own fan-base in my country as well. As far as I know pretty much all Honda bikes are made in the USA, someone go steel me one plz

The only Hondas available in the US are cruisers and sportbikes and a few tourers.

The gold rims with that 3-tone paint just screams 80's bike to me. I bet a set of those shocks would work nicely on a 700s.

That first RWB 750 has almost the exact same lines as the Kawi ZRX1200. I have seen these vids before and they make awesome eye candy I too don't understand why there isn't a market for a middle weight (750cc) standard motorcycle like those here in North America

All other bikes are made in Japan, Belgium, Brazil, and Argentina.

I love the interceptors pre-full fairing. I'd leave the chin on and just install a round headlight.

Do they sell fairings for the round headlight? Or would you remove the fairing altogether?

That big VFR is sick, man. Totally cool. Is that a cam cover just under the oil cooler?

I could do a generic round-headlight fairing, something simple like this: That big VFR is sick, man. Totally cool. Is that a cam cover just under the oil cooler?
Back then they were still just 'VF's, and that's the radiator, no oil cooler needed on a water-cooled bike. The VF1000F Interceptor's engine is similar to the Magna/Sabre engine, but it's 100cc smaller, rotates the opposite direction, uses chain drive (boo), and is tilted backward so it's more of a "vee" shape rather than an "L" shape. I actually bought a chin fairing from that VF model to see if I could adapt it to the Sabre, but the frames are just too different, and because the Sabre's engine is tilted further forward, the exhaust gets in the way.

I like the look of those Interceptors to Gammer! Pretty cool name as well. I've heard about cam troubles with the Sabre engines though, and to be honest I prefer inlines over V's for the sound and the way they deliver their power. I'm open for a test-ride though Heck, I'm even looking at old BMW's atm so why not, haha.

Early Viffer's are nice.. but only problem is oil-lines to the cams.. they were an after-thought (after cam bearings began wearing).. and 30k is around when they would start going. This was more pronounced on the 500's and 750's.. not too sure about the 1000's.

Early Viffer's are nice.. but only problem is oil-lines to the cams.. they were an after-thought (after cam bearings began wearing).. Not a "Viffer," just a "Viff." And the real problem was the manufacturing process used to bore the cam holders. This was more pronounced on the 500's and 750's.. not too sure about the 1000's.
I know of oil mods for the 1000, so it must have mattered. My cams are of a later design and I run synthetic, no problems yet at 32,000.

I think I like the RWB colour scheme best on these Interceptors... http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-motorcycles-sport-bikes-1984-Honda-Interceptor-W0QQAdIdZ279152985I could do a generic round-headlight fairing, something simple like this: I like that fairing Laminar, what's it off of?

Not sure if that's a HD licensed fairing or not, but I found some very similar to that on Fleabay when I was looking at flyscreen options for the wife's GS500.
