as soon as i get pic of the 750's i'll do just that. i have a small 1 car garage and  the only bike i have room for is the sunL 70. then you put in lawn furnature, propane and charcol grills, and lawn equiptment and snowblowers. pretty full in there, i have to make a stand to stack two engines for my other mustangs and be able to fit everything back in for next winter

Beautiful Cb1000C Nibis!

I almost bought one last year, and plan on adding one to my stable.

Thanks Hondo,
I took off the fairing and added a Plexstar 2 windshield, great bike, but I'm not sure it is as fast as the 81 CB750C I had years ago, but I don't need to do 140 anymore.

I work at a little independent motorcycle shop. We're about the only place in the area that will touch older bikes. Check out what just pulled up outside:

Very nice!

yes that 1000c is faster that the 750c you had. my 750k is much faster with the 900 motor than it ever was with the 750 motor with more low end power too but like you said we don't ride like that anymore but if you need more power put some cams from an 1100 in it

Mabey the gearing on the cb1000 is a bit lower for luggage and passengers ect. It seems like the NH gearbox is geared for acceleration and not power.

Purchased from original owner in 2001. The owner was at that time in his early 90's. He purchased the bike from our local

honda dealer to fullfill a last chance at adventure. He rode the bike until 1987 when he decided it was time to quit riding.

He sold the bike to stop the grandkids arguing who was to get the bike when he left for the last ride that last forever.

I had to rebuild the carburetors and hydraulic systems. I replaced the intake manifolds, tires and chain. The paint and

chrome was still like new. I love the ripping sound the exhaust makes going through the gears..

I have Tracy and Shoei fairings for dressup occasions...

Here's my baby:

I'll get her back to tip top shape some day winker

Other than the usual maitnacnce stuff (Carbs, fork oil, tyres, etc.)...Gotta fix a dent or two in the tank, straighten the handlebars, and do a valve job. She's just stored in Ciny, and I don't have a decent garage down here...
