I like that Very good work. The seat looks like it might be uncomfortable for long rides though... BTW, what is that tank off of? It looks like its off a CX500 to me...

Impressive transformation. Can't say it looks comfortable, but that's not really the point... What is the tail? I wish it was a bit longer or lower, as the proportions are a bit scrunched. I'm betting the paint looks twice as good in person. Any plans on carrying over the graphic from the original tank?

Well, now we have a place to direct all the people looking to cafe a 750. Finally. Looks good! What was the tank from and how hard was the swap? Oh, and welcome to the forum!

The seat doesn't look very comfy, but otherwise pretty nice.

True cafe's never are. Just a style suggestion: The airbox looks out of place. I wouldn't remove it, but you should definitely cover it by extending the side covers.

Tank is a cx500 tank.
Tail was a universal part. Seating position is fine. You can't reach the bars if you sit back any further. Color does look better in person.

Ah...I thought so. Looks good. Was it a direct bolt up?

Tank was not a direct bolt on. I had to make new mounts join urge front of the frame plus cut the rear mount of the tank and make it one inch higher. Both for looks and because the petcock valve hit the carb.

looking great. who says your bike has to be from the 70's to get a nice looking cafe. all the coolness of a CB750 cafe and the benefits of more modern options.
I would love to rig up my 650 like that, but would have to add new gauges and headlight along with the tank and seat.

go get yourself a can of spraymax 2k clear and give it a couple of coats of that so that the paint on the tank won't be ruined when you spill a bit of fuel on it.

not bad! As a young man I always wanted a cafe...I don't think my old body would allow it now.... Are you going to move the controls/footpegs?

My butt really doesn't like the looks of that thing in the spot where the seat used to be, but otherwise I think she looks awesome! Nice job Did the handling change a lot because of the changes you made?
