I used regular motor oil for years, now I only use motor cycle specific oil. It ends up costing the same, but is designed for wet clutches.
Great looking bike!
I copy the 'http://' link and just paste it into the text, it shows the preview screen.
Check my project in the projects forum, had a transmission problem, getting it ready to get back on the road.

WTF? Did you drop the bike? Did you make an illegal trip or lend it to a very drunk friend? But that doesn't explain the holes in the exhaust....

No... PO's have done all of this...
The exhaust holes look awesome I think and it sounds great.
But at 1 exhaust (the 1 in the pic) he made a mistake drilling 1 in stead of 2 holes between the rivets.

I made some progress with the bike this Tuesday. I took the brake calipers apart. Cleaned the seals and their grooves in the caliper. Polished the pistons. And I build it up again. I also cleaned the disks with sandpaper. The holes were dirty to, so I cleaned those with my Dremel. After this I put it all back together again. And added new DOT4. Next time I'll change the engine oil and filter. Maybe I'll replace the clutch fluid.
I'll give her a good wash and it should be ready!
Still haven't decided which front tire I should buy....

Ok,
I decided to buy a Bridgestone BT45 110/90-16 59V front tire. Got it for €95,74 / $133,37
At the moment I have a 100/90-16 up front, but that one is almost worn out.

I also cleaned the disks with sandpaper. The holes were dirty to, so I cleaned those with my Dremel. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the 700s had slotted front disk, not drilled. Perhaps you have aftermarket brakes?

700S had slotted rotors, but they are interchangeable with almost any twin disc Honda of the era. I put 700S slotted rotors on my 650, and I know some early CBR rotors swap, as well as VFR's. Even Goldwing rotors should bolt right on. Basically you can find either slotted, drilled or blank rotors to fit your tastes if you want to.

Did you take a look at my pictures? If so, you would have seen that they are aftermarket. I don't know which brand...

Like Option said, a lot of the Honda rotors are interchangable. Mine are off an F2 and look a lot like Mad Marv's.......I think the hole pattern is slightly different.

Now I can ride every motorcycle I want, 24/7 :)
Because I'm 21+ I I'm not bound to ride restricted motorcycles ( <25KW or 0.16KW/Kg (0,0952hp/lb))

Picked up some nice Honda saddlebags today. Managed to get exactly 1:18 km/l = 42.35 mpg (us gallons) with an average speed of about 75 mph.
