I've stayed away from the inflatable beds because I've just seen so many that get punctured or leak on various camping trips over the years. And then you're truly sleeping on the ground.

The trick is to be careful where you unpack it and repack it.   I've seen quite a few of my fellow campers develop leaks on trips.  Invariably it was because they tried to inflate or deflate it outside the tent, where small pointy objects could be found.   My process is to only unroll and inflate the mattress when it's in the tent.  Same for deflating and packing.  Never had one go flat just following that simple rule.

Picked this up 3 weeks ago, 13k miles, replaced the turn signals, mirrors, and I put new vinyl on the seat (favored the blue on blue). Still need to find a center stand, and upgrade the suspension.

Alright, thank you very much.  I took out the sparkplugs today and sprayed some pb blaster down in the cylinders and I plan on letting that soak overnight then I will try turning it over in the morning

This is exactly the kind of advice I was looking for. That Go Kot seems like it would be a good solution, but I still don't think the family accountant is going to authorize me to drop $100 or more on a cot.
